Look at your entire body in the mirror daily. You are beautiful in your own unique way, accept who and where you are. Look at yourself naked, look at yourself in your favorite dress. Do you avoid mirrors? Try to push yourself out of your comfort zone, have a look.
Accept love. Tell yourself. “I love you” on a daily basis. Even if you don’t feel lovable, allow your heart to open to yourself. Look into your own eyes in a mirror and find compassion towards yourself. Practice this even if you don’t feel it at first, eventually your heart will open.
Get your hair done. Don’t wait for anything to try that new hairstyle that you love. Find a good stylist that you resonate with and discuss whether or not you will be able to rock that style or does another style fit you better. Open yourself to new possibilities.
Have your nails done. In a nice place where you will have a quality mani and/or pedi. Whether you choose polish or no polish, having your nails done regularly will help you feel well groomed and pampered.
Choose nourishing and whole foods. Respect your body by choosing healthy and nutrient dense foods. Avoid abusing your body with “junk” foods and processed foods. Trust me, you will feel so much better body, mind and spirit.
Move your body. Dance, yoga or simple stretching, walk or running, or your favorite workout. Moving your body will help your circulation in both the physical and energetically ( your subtle body.) There are so many other benefits, try it on a daily basis and see how you feel.
Meditate. You can meditate by stilling your mind. Be present and in the ‘now.’ Breathe deeply and slowly. Even if you practice this five minutes a day you will benefit.
Be playful and laugh often. Play with a child or puppy, play a fun sport and play for fun and not competition, go out and laugh with friends, read funny books, watch funny movies. Stop being so serious all of the time.
Get a massage. The ultimate in pampering. A good massage will heal you in your body, mind and spirit. Accept touch, relax your mind, close your eyes, surrender.
Try energy healing. Crystal healing, Reiki, sound healing and so many more forms. Energy healing touches takes in account your entire being. Learn more about your chakras, aura and energetic anatomy. Find a healer or practitioner that you resonate with.
Try makeup! For fun or on a daily basis. Not to cover yourself and hide, but to bring out your beauty and express yourself. See it as fun. Try it even if is just occasionally. If you have no idea how to apply it, you can have help at a good salon, or even at a cosmetic counter, but I do urge you to find natural product to use. If the cosmetics are laden with ingredients you cannot pronounce, realize that what you put on your skin is absorbed into your body. Be conscious of your choices.
